- Proved non-specific effect of naloxone on ethanol consumption in individuals with hyperactive opioid system
- Proved significant role of the blood-brain barrier in the development of ethanol dependence
- Definition of mechanism responsible for attenuation of voluntary ethanol intake after induction of mild traumatic brain injury
- Team award of the Director of the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding PAS in 2018 for publication series
- 2nd degree award of the Rector of the Warsaw Medical University in 2018 for explanation of non-specific effect of naloxone in conditions of high endogenous opioid system activity
