Analytical and other specialist servises

Due to the presence of qualified staff and the necessary analytical equipment the Institute is able to offer a wide range of services for companies and institutions from various sectors of economy and especially those related to animal production. >> Testing genetically modified animals and their products <<
The Institute is certified to test and present opinions on genetically modified farm animals and processed animal products (Decision of the Ministry of the Environment No. 4/2003 of March 10, 2003). In order to perform the necessary tests a separate reference laboratory has been opened at the Institute for analysing genetically modified organisms (GMO). The laboratory will perform a quantitative and qualitative analysis of GMO by the PCR method in real time. An important function of the laboratory will also be the validation as well as elaboration of new methods for analysing new GMO products appearing on EU market. The laboratory is licensed to issue the necessary certificates.
