NOTIFICATION ON THE ELECTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE OF GENETICS AND ANIMAL BIOTECHNOLOGY PAS

Pursuant to § 12 of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of November 22, 2010 on the competition for the position of director of a scientific institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Journal of Laws No. 233, item 1530, as amended), we kindly inform you that as a result of the competition procedure, by resolution No. 2/2023 of May 17, 2023, the competition committee selected the candidature of Professor Agnieszka Wierzbicka for the director of the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Jastrzębiec.

As a result of this competition, on June 16, 2023, the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences appointed Professor Agnieszka Wierzbicka as the director of the Institute of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences for a four-year term, i.e. until June 15, 2027.
