On December 12, 2018, the Institute was visited by Ms. Marjolijn Sonnema – Director General for Agro from the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. She was accompanied by the representatives of the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw (Agricultural Counsellor Martijn Homan & Katarzyna Kowalczewska) and Annie de Veer – Director Wageningen Livestock Research from Wageningen University & Research.
Ms. Sonnema attended a seminar with the members of the Polish - Dutch scientific consortium set in 2015 with the support of the Dutch Embassy. The consortium includes Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding PAS, National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy and Poznań University of Life Sciences. The seminar was devoted to the results of cooperation after four years of the consortium existence and future outlooks. There were presented several common international projects run by the consortium. The discussions considered also best practices in bringing back research outcomes to policymakers.
