Professor Horbańczuk, among others, co-authored innovative health products patents of functional food awarded with gold medals at the World Invention Fairs in Brussels and Barcelona and the statuette for the Best Invention of Europe at the largest International Invention Fair, in the US, in 2016. The professor also launched research on the biology and use of ostriches in Central and Eastern Europe. He is the author of books on ostriches published in 6 languages. His research results are published in reputable scientific journals, among others in Nature. He lectured in more than 40 countries around the world, including Harvard Medical School, in the USA. The professor's specialty is genetics and animal husbandry, improvement of food of animal origin quality and nutrigenomics.
