The Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences announces the start of recruitment to the Doctoral School of Animal Sciences and Food Safety (Recruitment Schedule 2020/2021).

1. Therapeutic possibilities of HMMR antagonist application in a mouse model of atherosclerosis and arterial hypertension.
2. Molecular mechanisms of iron transport through the placenta and regulation of iron metabolism in newborn domestic pigs and wild boar: comparative studies.
3. Identification and functional characterization of mtDNA mutations in malignant tumors of mammary gland in dogs based on genomic, epigenomic and proteomic studies.
4. Role of microbiome in Schizophrenia.
5. Mechanisms of trophectoderm differentiation in preimplantation rabbit embryos.
6. Welfare and behaviour of meat poultry reared in extensive production system.
