On February 28, 2022, the Nutricia Foundation project "The effect of liposomal resveratrol on the level of oxidative stress and cognitive impairment in ischemic stroke patients receiving home enteral nutrition" was launched at the Institute of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The project manager is dr hab. Michał Ławiński.
The aim of the project is determining the ability of LIP-RES to improve cognitive impairment in patients with ischaemic stroke. It is also aimed to show influence of the LIP-RES with regard to lipid peroxidation level, plasma homocysteine concentration and posttranslational modifications of HSA.
