IGAB PAS awarded the European HR Excellence in Research logo

The Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding of the Polish Academy of Sciences has received prestigious HR Excellence in Research logo.

Logo is awarded  by the European Commission to institutions which implement good practises in recruitment and employment procedures, defined in "European Charter for Researchers" and the "Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers”. The logo is a key factor of European Union Human Resources Strategy for Researchers which promotes more attractive job conditions for researchers.

European Commission awarding HR Excellence in Research logo, has confirmed that the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding of PAS provides and supports stimulating and favourable working environment for researchers and transparent recruitment procedures for researchers, in accordance with international standards.

Institutions awarded with HR Excellence in Research logo will be audited by the European Commission every two years.

Institutions with HR Excellence in Research logo have the following benefits:

• Institutions with friendly work conditions and transparent recruitment procedure shall have increasing level of attractiveness of employment,
• Institutions shall be promoted in the international grants competitions of European Commission, including Horizon 2020,
• Institutions shall be promoted in national grants competitions,
• Institute’s job announcements will be promoted on EURAXESS European platform for recruitment of researchers.
